Program Executive Office for Tactical Aircraft, Patuxent River, MD -- Wednesday, June 2 was a day of fun in the sun for the Program Executive Office for Tactical Aircraft Programs (PEO-T) and its respective program offices as they gathered at the NAS Patuxent River Beach House for an employee appreciation picnic.

The day’s activities included a picnic style lunch and sports including a spirited competitive volleyball tournament.

Events were kicked off by Ms. Steffanie Easter, Deputy Program Executive Officer for PEO-T, who offered her remarks to the team’s many employees that include NAVAIR’s program offices for E-2/C-2, EA-6B, F-14, Air-to-Air Missile Systems, F/A-18 EA-18G, Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection and the MIDS-LVT.

"We’re here to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication.” related Easter, “We want you to know that we recognize and appreciate that contribution from every one of our employees and that we realize that there have been many challenges that we have faced and there will be more in the future.”

Easter went on to say, “But we need to remember three things. First, we do what we do to support the Fleet, so all of your work has contributed to their success. Second, we need to take care of each other. Ensure that your teammates maintain balance between their home life and work life. And third, have fun doing what you do for the Fleet!”

Employees enjoyed an afternoon of fun, camaraderie and well-deserved recognition. June marks Employee Appreciation Month, a command-wide effort to recognize and reflect on the work NAVAIR does which contributes to the power and effectiveness of the armed services.
