What is the Plan of the Day?
The NAVAIR “Plan of the Day” is a new internal communications tool available to NAVAIR employees as part of ongoing efforts to improve and facilitate the flow of official information within the command. It will be updated daily with command information, such as leadership direction, new instructions, changes within the organization and activities of interest to NAVAIR employees at more than one site.
Another priority for the Plan of the Day is to reinforce and support NAVAIR management’s responsibility to provide information to their employees and ensure they understand it in the context of their jobs.
How do I access the Plan of the Day?
The Plan of the Day will appear in the center section of the MyNAVAIR Web site (https://MYNAVAIR.navair.navy.mil). The MyNAVAIR Web site does require users to have a personal MyNAVAIR account established with a password. NAVAIR employees without an account should get one by visiting the Web site and following the instructions for setting up a new account.
How do I get a MyNAVAIR account?
The new user account form can be found by going to the MyNAVAIR Web site and clicking on the “Click here to apply for an account” link located in the upper left “MyNAVAIR Login” box. The National Help Desk (301-342-3104) can also assist individuals who have problems accessing the form.
After the form is processed, a password is then sent back to the applicant for access to their new account. Account holders who don’t remember their password can have a password reissued by contacting the National Help Desk.
How will I find the Plan of the Day on the MyNAVAIR portal?
Once you log into My NAVAIR, the Plan of the Day will appear in the center section of the MyNAVAIR Web site.
What is MyNAVAIR?
MyNAVAIR is NAVAIR’s portal. MyNAVAIR provides a single access point and central location to enterprise information such as corporate applications, web services, reference materials, local intranets, and the extranet. Additionally, MyNAVAIR allows users to personalize their pages and use communities of interest for features like message boards, personalized documents and content, collaboration tools and advanced search engines.
Will my default “My Page” still be available on MyNAVAIR?
Yes. Your default “My Page” will still be available via the MyNAVAIR community.
Will my “My Page” customization still exist and how can I access it?
Yes. Any ‘My Page” customization will still exist and can be accessed by clicking on the “My Page” tab.
