Beginning Tuesday, February 17, the command will begin publishing the NAVAIR Plan of the Day (POD) at https://MyNAVAIR.navair.navy.mil. To access the NAVAIR POD, follow the directions at the MyNAVAIR Web site to establish an account.

“Effective immediately, NAVAIR’s internal communications policy places responsibility and accountability on supervisors to understand and deliver important command information to the people they lead,” said Vice Admiral Wally Massenburg, NAVAIR commander. “Each NAVAIR teammate is also responsible to ensure they are aware of important command information.”

The NAVAIR POD is the tool to help the command implement this policy.

“Supervisors are critical nodes in the information network,” said Massenburg. “They are the people we should look to for important information that enables us to do our jobs better. They are also the people to whom we can address our questions and concerns and who can work within the chain of command to resolve important issues.”
