FOR THE KIDS – Capt. James Woolway, left, NAVAIR Depot North Island commanding officer, and Santa (depot employee Mike Shenar) hand Salvation Army Lt. Col. Doug O’Brien one of $20,000 worth of toys and bikes that Depot employees donated to the Salvation Army’s holiday toy drive for distribution to children of needy families. This was the 43rd year that depot employees have donated toys. The National Association of Superintendents (Naval Shore Establishments) organized the toy drive. “Thank you for your stellar performance over these many years,” O’Brien said to the crowd as he accepted the toys.
