For the first time, undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering are available through a partnership between the University of Maryland and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division – at Naval Air Station, Patuxent River.

With the undergraduate studies also comes the opportunity for a Co-Op position, which is a progressive career-related student employment experience that integrates academic studies and on-the-job training. The program begins this Fall at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center.

The initial offering is for Juniors majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
