Matt Kirchner, of the Weapons and Energetics Department, tells to a Money & Me class at Burroughs High School what it’s like being a mechanical engineer. On May 28, Kirchner talked about the education and skills required to be an engineer, and encouraged the students to think about what opportunities and options are available to them in the working world. Five others from the China Lake work force also spoke to Lori Durell’s Money & Me class. They were Lt. Victor Glover, Steve Bjornstad, Neal Barry, Lee Cox and Brad Cox.
