7th Annual NAVAIR COMSEC Conference Registration

The NAVAIR COMSEC Management Team is hosting the 7th Annual NAVAIR Communications Security (COMSEC) Conference 21-23 January 2009, at the Base Theater aboard Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland.

The Conference will provide information and training to Program Managers and/or their designated representatives on Crypto Decertification and Modernization, and POM-12 COMSEC Modernization Planning.

A substantial list of Crypto related topics will be briefed to include Crypto Modernization Program Updates on; MODE-5, JPALS, ARC-210-Gen 5, VACM, MIDS LVT/JTIDS, GPS, JTRS, MATT/IBS/IBR, CDL/TCDL, EKMS/KMI, EKMS Tier 3 products (SKL/DMD/TKL) and KG-175. KGV-135A Modes of Operations (NSA), Embedded COMSEC supply procedures (NAVICP), KY-58 Sustainment, Status of COMSEC repair, Strategies for Life Cycle Support of Non Embedded Crypto, and more.

This Conference is open to all NAVAIR Program Managers, their supporting contractors and Fleet COMSEC Users.

Keynote speaker for the conference is Vice Adm. Venlet. Additionally, Ray Semko, the “D*I*C*E Man”, will present his informative and entertaining briefing on Defensive Information to Counter Espionage (D*I*C*E).
