NAWCWD teammates graduate from NLDP/JLDP
Naval Air Systems Command held their Journey Leadership Development Program and NAVAIR Leadership Development Program graduation ceremony on March 29.
“I applaud your commitment to your career, to the fleet and to NAVAIR,” said Vice Adm. Carl Chebi, NAVAIR commander. “You stepped up, put in the hard work, strengthened your leadership skills, forged new relationships, and most importantly you have learned.”
Across NAVAIR there were a total of 137 JLDP graduates and 101 NLDP graduates. Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division had a total of 20 graduates between China Lake and Point Mugu. China Lake with nine graduates – five NLDP and four JLDP – and Point Mugu with 11 graduates – three NLDP and eight JLDP graduates.
“You have the building blocks, now it’s time to put your skills to work,” said Tom Rudowsky, NAVAIR deputy commander. “I challenge you all to expand your horizons, put your mark on naval aviation, and make an impact on the mission and your teammates.”
The NLDP is a command commitment to personal and professional growth of our workplace. It is designed for mid-to-senior level employees that show they have leadership potential.
The JLDP is a command commitment and complements the NLDP. This program is for junior-to-mid level employees. Both civilian and military personnel may participate in the JLDP.

NAWCWD’s NLDP graduates are:
Donald Christison, Dana Hyatt, John Jensen, Debra Nelson, Craig Paganucci, Frederick Smith, Jared Fife, Lavanya Iyer, and Stephanie Smith.
