JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 21, 2025) – Fleet Readiness Center Southeast’s Electronic Work Order (EWO) H-60 Seahawk team gathers for a group photo after completing the first H-60 using EWOs, finishing maintenance in 113 days, seven days faster than the fiscal year average.

Fleet Readiness Center Southeast Completes First H-60 Seahawk Using Electronic Work Orders

On July 23, Fleet Readiness Center Southeast achieved its first successful completion of an H-60 Seahawk utilizing Electronic Work Orders (EWOs), completing a Planned Maintenance Interval in just 113 days – seven days quicker than the average turnaround time for H-60s during the fiscal year.

A team of about 15 key personnel, including the Naval Air Systems Command depot maintenance system (NDMS) team, industrial engineering technicians, fleet support engineers and quality personnel, collaborated to bring the H-60 EWOs to fruition. To ensure the seamless adoption of the new system, the team provided comprehensive training, direct support and continuous access to the NDMS team for day-to-day operations. This multipronged approach resulted in a smooth transition.

“Deploying EWOs is the first step in creating a digital shop floor environment at FRCSE, and it has been an exciting journey,” said April Raines-Lovencin, lead business management specialist. “Witnessing both anticipated and surprising benefits as we empower artisans with convenient and accurate instructions to enhance readiness has been incredibly rewarding, but the best part of my job has been the opportunity to connect with the dedicated artisans who truly make the magic happen.”

By embracing digital solutions like EWOs, FRCSE continues to enhance operational efficiency by enabling faster turnaround times, reducing paperwork and improving data accuracy in support of the warfighter.

FRCSE’s Trainer Production Line was next to adopt EWOs, with the first aircraft inducted on August 27.
