Expeditionary airfield engineers complete testing for airfield lighting upgrade

CLARK AIR BASE, PHILIPPINES - A U.S. Marine Corps F/A 18C Hornet aircraft with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232 tests an M31 Expeditionary Arresting Gear System at Clark Air Base, Philippines, April 2, 2019, during Exercise Balikatan.

Expeditionary Airfield Landing (EAF) Systems teams from the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Program Office (PMA-251) wrapped up testing last month on improved EAF landing systems with a new Runway Light System that can be used near M31 Arresting Gear.
