A team of artisans and engineers at Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) recently developed and refined a new procedure for checking an H-53 spar fitting’s mount feet for excessive gaps, improving the manner in which the aircraft’s spar fittings are evaluated for fit and resulting in a higher acceptance rate and faster turnaround times for the components.
