A Czech Air Force crew chief accepts his graduation certificate from U.S. Marine Corps Col. Vasilios E. Pappas, Marine Corps H-1 Light/Attack Helicopter Program Manager, Naval Air Systems Command on Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 9, 2023. Czech airmen have been training at Marine Light Attack Helicopter Training Squadron (HMLAT) 303 with U.S. Marines for months. The training equips students with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to maintain, operate and fly the H-1 platform; the Czech pilots, aircrew, and maintainers are executing the same program as U.S. Marines in comparable military occupational specialties.
