Skylar Fornes, an artisan in FRCE’s metal spray shop, participates in training for a new mobile, autonomous cold spray metallization system that is being fielded on H-1 line at the depot’s detachment on board Marine Corps Air Station New River. Officials say the new system will aid in reducing aircraft maintenance turnaround times and decreasing costs.
