The Navy demos a small unmanned air system to test wide-area mission capability during a demonstration aboard USS Paul Hamilton (DDG-60) July 12 off the coast of San Diego. Two vendors, Insitu Inc. and L3 Harris, showcased multiple technologies designed to operate as a portable system in challenging conditions while providing the same wide-area coverage as a shore-based system.
