A rotary pilot performs a shipboard-landing maneuver through fog in a simulated scenario at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Manned Flight Simulator in Patuxent River, Md. The pilot successfully landed his MH-60S on a virtual carrier in zero-visibility conditions using new landing aid software developed at the warfare center.
