Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) recently received five new environmental protection shelters or ground check huts.

220224-N-DG679-019 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb 24, 2022) Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) pilots Lt. Cmdr. Joseph ‘Boom’r’ Breeden (front) and Lt. Cmdr.  Andrew ‘Riddler’ Konowicz (rear) successfully completes a post-ACI Functional Checkflight on a Navy T-6A aircraft that is the first aircraft operated beneath the new Ground Check Huts. The huts, rated to 135 MPH winds and permit powered aircraft operations beneath the structure, are the only ones aboard NAS Jacksonville and will be able to ready aircraft for flight in a shaded environment protecting artisans from harsh summer weathers.
