Aviation Programs

The Program Director for Aviation (PDA) is aligned to both NAWCTSD and the Naval Air Systems Command Training Systems Program Manager (PMA205) for management of Naval and Marine Corps aviation training programs, systems, and products relating to aviation weapons systems, platforms, and environment. The scope includes aircraft, armament, air traffic control, aviation systems, and other related equipment. PDA provides support for aviation-related training provided by the Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) and its subordinate commands.

The MH-60R (Romeo) Seahawk is one of the United States Navy's primary helicopter models, along side the MH-60S, these two helicopters cosemetically aren't very different from the Army's UH-60 Black Hawk or the Air Force's HH-60 Pave Hawk, but the missions that the Seahawk flies are very different from the Black Hawk's and Pave Hawk's, the Tactical Operation Flight Trainer's purpose is to train naval aviators on the MH-60R.

F-35C Simulator
As the newest aircraft entering service within the United States Navy, the F-35C is thus in need of pilots who are trained to operate the aircraft to its fullest extent. The interactive simulator pictured will go great lengths in helping with training those pilots because it provides a safe environment for them to learn how to operate the new aircraft without stepping into a cockpit.
