This webinar is an introduction to what most PTACs offer to help you with government contracting; such as a general overview of how the government buys goods and services. Our guest PTAC will introduce you to the services, tips and tools of the trade, which PTACs provide to help Small Businesses find contract opportunities and how to respond in a way that makes you a contender in the efforts. 

PTACs have multiple skills and training that they can share with you to prepare you for Federal Contracts. This includes guidance on how to become certified and registered and the benefits for small business participating in the 8a, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), HUBZones, Woman Owned Businesses and Veteran Owned Business. Also an introduction to navigating SAM: How to manage GSA’s System for Award Management (SAM), required for government contracting. AN intro to doing Business with GSA Schedules and requirements and process for GSA Schedule contracts. Learn how to respond to RFPs/Proposal Writing:  Learn the structure of an RFP, how to understand every section and its requirements, how to identify required sources, and how to plan, develop write, review and deliver a complete, compliant and compelling proposal. How to navigate teaming arrangements and subcontracting. PTACs can help small businesses develop successful teaming and subcontract relationships with large businesses, other small businesses and individuals.
