Why: Replaces lengthy, outdated, voice and manual data reporting processes to reduce operator workload, mitigate errors and misunderstanding of collected data, expedite reporting to real-time generation. Outcome is to outpace adversary in information gathering and decision-making process by allowing operational decision makers to aggregate data from the growing number of information systems that are being added to the battlefield every day.
