Blackhawk Aerospace Solutions (BAS), LLC is one of three Blackhawk Aerospace affiliated companies. The total number of employees for all Blackhawk companies is less than 50. BAS is a self-certified Small Business partnered with companies to provide a “One-Stop Shop” for the management of Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) of aircraft subsystems, engine upgrades, and aircraft modifications. BAS has over 12 years of stellar past performance providing world-class program management of aircraft MRO and aircraft performance upgrades. BAS provides engine MRO with the fastest turn-around-times in the industry at very competitive pricing. We are currently on contract to manage the MRO of a foreign military’s fleet of aircraft engines, and BAS is the supplier of performance upgrade kits consisting of more powerful engines, all composite propellers, and lithium-ion batteries on the US Army’s EMARSS Special Mission fleet of 24 aircraft. BAS has 37 Supplemental Type Certificates for aircraft performance upgrades that have been installed on over 900 aircraft. Our performance upgrades solve obsolescence issues associated with legacy engine and propeller systems while dramatically expanding mission capabilities. Our composites shop produces radomes, SATCOM covers, antenna housings, belly pods, propellers, and various other structural products to leading Original Equipment Manufacturers and Prime Defense Contractors. Our company has a robust Quality Management System that is ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100 Rev D certified. We are an active member of GIDEP for the prevention of counterfeit parts.
