SELECT CORPORATE CASE STUDIES SHOWN BELOW:

CASE #1 - NAVSEA - COLUMBIA (CLB) CLASS SUBMARINE PROGRAM – DMSMS - MBDM supports (in conjunction with General Dynamics) the PMS397 COLUMBIA Class Submarine Program in reviewing the TR-IPT (i.e.,PMS450's Technology Refresh Integrated Product Team) Obsolescence Management Process currently being used to Support Obsolescence in the VIRGINIA Class Submarine. MBDM is tasked with identifying, making recommendations to mitigate, and improving key DMSMS Deficiencies and Knowledge Gaps, which when improved, will ensure the improved TR-IPT will meet the higher Mission Capability standards of the COLUMBIA Class Submarine. This is an ongoing engagement.

CASE #2 - NAPVSUP - WEAPONS SYSTEMS SUPPORT – DMSMS - MBDM was contracted to support NAVSUP’s OMIS WSS Spare Parts Optimization Model and to improve Weapons Systems Parts Availability and Weapon Systems Uptime % to meet Mission Capability levels (% not disclosed). With critical DMSMS factors at play, we re-designed, re-engineered and supported the build of a Parts Availability Optimization Model that improved Weapon System Availability levels by upwards of 27% while reducing Costs by ~ 19%. In the process, we performed Supportability Data Analysis on over 1000+ Weapons Systems and Parts in efforts to set priorities for proactive inventory management. In the process, we also conducted Critical Spares Evaluations, Root Cause Analyses, Reliability Studies on Critical Spares, and Weapons Availability Studies. We identified key weaknesses in the Weapons System Supply Chain which they were unaware of - and upgraded their Spare Parts Database.

CASE #3 - AEROSPACE - DUPONT VESPEL – DMSMS - Role: Contracted to build a Critical Aerospace Spare Parts Model for over One Million Spare Parts and to mitigate the impacts of DMSMS on their Supply Chain and their ability to meet Federal Contracting deadlines. Reengineered several Spare Part Production and Assembly lines to improve capacity – conducted workflow management studies, reliability engineering studies and equipment readiness studies.
