Thompson Software Solutions (TSS) has a broad background covering software development, systems design, systems integration and systems testing. The team is capable of testing at all levels of the development process including desktop testing, systems integration laboratories and aircraft integration. This experience has been applied to multiple applications such as the Lockheed-Martin C-130J and C-5M platforms as well as many commercial based applications. The TSS team understands what is required to develop, integrate, test, and deploy software with a safety critical pedigree. The process of fielding software that could cause loss of life or jeopardize a critical mission requires a unique skillset and an attention to detail that never loses focus. TSS applies true software engineering processes to tightly control every aspect of the steps required to build software that is certifiable by an airworthiness authority. With this background, TSS has gained experience in real-time kernels including Green Hills and VxWorks utilizing ARINC-653 compliant partitioning. TSS has developed Air Vehicle software to support Flight Mgmt Sys, Terrain Following Radar, Flight Recorder, Heads Up Displays (including PFD), and Radio Data links. We have developed Mission Software covering Defensive Systems, Electronic Warfare, Electronic Flight Bag, and Situational Awareness Displays. For aircraft maintenance needs, TSS has developed Sustainment Software covering flight debriefing and fault isolation applications. TSS has extensive experience in developing software using MOSA approaches (OMS, UCI, FACE, etc.). Our staff has unique specialties in safety critical software, website development, enterprise applications, Big Data processing, and system integration laboratories. All systems and software are developed using solid system engineering processes including documenting and capturing requirements in DOORS and utilizing AGILE software development processes.
