EFX Applied Technology is developing a suite of products collectively called Interactive Personnel Alert Systems ®, or IPAS ®.
IPAS uses as many human senses as possible to directly notify people they are in danger of serious injury or death.
Sight, Sound and Touch are the direct communication modalities in our present designs.

Aircraft & Ground Support Vehicle Mounted IPAS devices are currently able to project flashing or static or animated, highly visible warning areas on the ground to delineate hazard areas such as spinning tail rotors or propellers, turbine engine intake or blast areas, operating forklifts, moving vehicles, dangerous machines, industrial robots, in industrial or manufacturing settings and a variety of other applications.
Future IPAS designs will enable wireless connectivity options to wearable IPAS and stationary IPAS devices.

Wearable IPAS devices are being designed as both proprietary IPAS devices and to be incorporated into existing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
IPAS equipped hard hats have been developed and a prototype has been produced as a proof of concept. This prototype and its applications are included in the 2nd of our 3 US Patents.

Stationary IPAS devices will be placed in defined areas to connect and track all vehicle mounted and wearable IPAS devices to provide supervisory and safety personnel a real-time location monitoring and two-way notification system to alert not only the people at risk of injury, but also to aid in operational training environments and remedial training scenarios to mitigate future mishaps.
