Among the strategic imperatives discussed in NAVAIR's December 1, 2017 briefing, " Doing Business with the Naval Air Systems Command" is "alignment of existing resources to better support today’s readiness." This focus, in particular the idea of predictive versus reactive decision-making, is the very premise that Teksouth built its business on. For more that thirty years, Teksouth has empowered our DoD customers to use their historical data to help improve future policy and results. We deliver solutions that enable our customers to have more accurate and timely data upon which to make decisions. We deliver these solutions through four primary lines of business. For NAVAIR, our Desktop Analytics and EntelliFusion solutions seem most appropriate to meet the imperatives.

Desktop Analytics (DTA) uses the Microsoft Office tools already on the desktop coupled with highly-skilled Teksouth personnel to gather together data from disparate systems and deliver them each morning as if they came from a single authoritative source. The information is validated daily and decision ready. A DTA solution eliminates the time-consuming and error-prone cut-and-paste reporting that is still all too common. Because there are no additional systems added, a DTA solution does not require authorization to operate and can be up and running in as little as 90-120 days post award. Teksouth is currently delivering a DTA solution to the U.S. Navy at PACFLT where it delivers Common Analytics Picture (CAP) Support Services.

EntelliFusion is an enterprise-class architecture and managed service decision support system. EntelliFusion is the same solution in place at the U.S. Air Force, where it powers the Commanders Resource Integration System (CRIS). CRIS began as a solution designed to accurately and completely account for all expenses associated with flight hours. Over the years, it has grown to encompass the entire USAF's budget and execution data. It holds 12 terabytes of queryable data in over nine billions rows while delivering four second response times to ad hoc queries with 99.99% uptime over the past 15 years. Available with a government open source license, EntelliFusion is built to be very scalable and flexible while enforcing industry best practices throughout. The result is a decision support capability that can meet changing/expanded requirements while preserving the reliability and accuracy of the data.
