Amaratek

Amaratek was incorporated in 2003 to develop CBRNE technologies. Amaratek has executed several DoD “inventor-for-hire” contracts that have resulted in new capabilities and new materials including anti-chemical agent smart polymers, new chemical and biological decontamination technologies, anti-proliferation technologies, and unusual energetic materials. The company maintains a strong CBRNE and material development R&D program that includes corrosion and coating technologies. Amaratek provided weapon testing support, material science, chemistry, biology, geology, soil science, and environmental science (including environmental dispersal of radioactive materials) services at Yuma Proving Ground while developing a ISO9001 QA system. Capabilities included T&E support, GOCO, modernization of data management systems, and fuel and oil testing and logistics. The company's expertise includes hazmat, environmental sampling and analysis, and waste, water and RCRA testing and management.
