Performance Aircraft Services, Inc is a Woman-Owned Small Business, founded in 1993. We have numerous veteran partners in our company. We repair and certify both integral “wet wing” fuel tanks and fuel bladders. We utilize an AFRL/NAVAIR approved AquaStripping Process to remove legacy polysulfide sealants and install EF-5992 Polyurethane sealant in the fuel tanks. This sealant is 34% lighter than legacy sealants, and can reduce the weight of a C-130 by up to 800 pounds. EF-5992 is more flexible, and in AFRL testing, it withstood 1.4 million oscillations with no degradation. It will not dissolve in anti-icing agents such as DiEGME, and will not dry or crack when the wing tanks are empty. Most importantly, it does not allow oxygen to permeate it-which prevents most types of corrosion. NDI and eddy current testing can be done through this sealant.
