Additionally, systems administration, trouble-shooting support, configuration of firewalls, installations, and configuration where actioned.
Necessary hardware maintenance, diagnosed problems with desktops and laptops (Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux operating systems where accomplished by SBG personnel in addition to various UNIX SMTP and POP/IMAP email systems, calendaring and scheduling systems) within four working hours of the notification of the problem and ensured that the equipment was returned to service or a replacement was available within eight working hours after problem diagnosis.
Procedures to identify and prevent recurrence of defective services where implemented by SBG. Our Information Technology SMEs applied patches and updates, addressed DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides and remediated vulnerabilities.
SBG Implemented SOPs for incident response, configuration management, and disaster recovery. Made web-based system available on a “24/7” basis with-less than 2% downtime for system maintenance or correction of system faults or errors. 95% of system faults/errors were corrected within one business day of reporting.
SBG has upgraded code base from Classic ASP to .NET MVC; redesigned the user interface; encrypted sensitive information; enabled cross-browser capability; reduced dependency on third-party software; and enhanced system reporting and dashboard capabilities.
