BEAT has staffed over 170 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) supporting digital transformation and engineering modernization programs. The programs cover many technical areas including IT transformation, cybersecurity, software development, data analytics, cloud and big data deployments, application orchestration and integration, and digital services. As part of the Air Force Cyber Defense in the Cloud initiative, the team established API integration mechanisms, automated tooling and workflow, and containerized orchestration of performing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) hardening and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning on all tools installed in the environment (i.e., SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response), and customized tools). BEAT has led Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts to attain and support ATO accreditations for more than 70 eMASS registered systems. BEAT was responsible for supporting all RMF steps during the ATO process, preparing all packages by gathering background information, and obtaining all points of contact (POCs).
Additionally, we bring IT support and operations experience that includes a 24-hour integrated service center supporting over 200 centrally managed systems. BEAT assists our clients in the implementation of IT Service Management to streamline and deliver IT support operations for the 200 systems and the respective Product Development Teams.
