Technica was founded on engineering methodology, by engineers who took their passion for researching new technology tackling tough challenges, and built a Veteran-owned company where Information Technology business professionals and engineers could come together and build solutions that make a difference.
What began in 1991 with professional services and products for national and global commercial telecommunications carriers evolved into today’s Technica Corporation, which supports the Federal Government and their mission to support, to defend and protect America's citizens.
DEVSECOPS
Improves the lead time and frequency of delivery outcomes through enhanced engineering practices; promoting a more cohesive collaboration between Development, Security, and Operations teams as they work towards continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). Technica established and is currently executing in an DevSecOps production environment and helped the U.S. Air Force (USAF) client shift to Agile Development on its prime contract for the USAF enterprise Cyberspace vulnerability Assessment/Hunter (CVA/H) Defensive Cyber Operation program and supporting the Combined Air Operations Center after implementing a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) construct.
CYBER OPERATIONS
Combines the power of AI and Deep Learning in cyber solutions by integrating a defense-in-depth approach leveraging the power of AI. As the prime contractor, Technica supports the USAF CVA/H Defensive Cyber Operation program, which includes
network and system engineers and administrators, developers following the latest DevSecOps and Agile guidelines. Additionally, our team supports the USAF Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) Enterprise and successfully
migrated more than 100 individual sites and 38 legacy domains for all AF and Guard units into a single location to provide centralized cybersecurity allowing more definitive Command and Control.
AI OPS, INTEGRATION & BIG DATA SOLUTIONS
Develops comprehensive infrastructure management for ML workloads via Microservices Architecture (MSA) and containerization. Architects, designs, and implements Enterprise Big Data solutions such as Apache Spark and Apache Kafka and integrates with AI-ready cloud platforms and third-party APIs across the full product lifecycle. We were recently onboarded to the Advanced Battle Management Platform (ABMS) as a key industry partner to perform work in Sensor Integration, Data, Connectivity, and Applications to enable rapid decision making and all-domain command and control.
ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE & STRATEGIC CONSULTING
Develops investment options, technology stack, timeline, total cost of ownership, and on-going maintenance required to launch and sustain on-premise or cloud solutions. Technica has completed extensive architecture consulting engagements at DISA and the U.S. Navy, including re-architecting the OSS, and establishment of the Department of Defense’s milCloud. Technica continues to plan and design the Enterprise architecture changes and development and maintenance of the JWICS Network Enterprise.

Draws on our in-house Technica Labs operated by our Independent Research & Development (IR&D) organization, we evaluate the latest technologies with a vendor-agnostic, approach. We then blend best-of-breed applications and solutions for our clients. Current areas of research include:
