Founded in 2019, Systems Technology and Research, Inc. (STaR) is a Huntsville, Alabama-based, Small Business, providing quality technical, logistics, and programmatic solutions in an ethical, professional, and cost-effective manner. STaR’s workforce includes highly skilled engineers, scientists, program managers, and logisticians providing DoD customers with complex technical research and analysis crossing multiple functional disciplines. STaR’s core competencies include identification of warfighting gaps; providing effectiveness of alternatives; ensuring engineering level performance and design meet warfighting capability requirements; operational and tactical assessment of existing systems/subsystems/Systems of Systems (SoS)/Family-of-Sys (FoS); and long-term readiness/sustainment strategic decision making. STaR employees provide airworthiness analysis of technology and materials in the designing, developing, and sustaining of aviation platforms, demonstrating an outstanding capability to develop, analyze, and modernize complex systems such as aviation and unmanned systems and associated ground support equipment. Our employees provide the engineering and technical expertise required to support Mission-Specific Network Eng projects at different stages of the engineering lifecycle to include technical and management support; requirements identification and documentation; integration and installation; validation & verification; operations & sustainment support; RDT&E, and the administrative and logistic support services required for various projects and programs. STaR employees support the application of rapid development and prototyping of product-based solutions in aviation systems development, operations, and airborne mission systems. STaR employees also provide analysis/engineering of core business processes along with resource management support in the execution of approved budgets/procurements, including all acceptance of independent cost analysis, technical and cost risk evaluation, budget planning, preparation, needs validation, and disbursements from contract inception through closeout. We provide business operations support, project management, portfolio management, enterprise architecture planning/management, process/standards development and maintenance keeping our customers abreast of policy changes, acquisition opportunities, and coordination/communication with Government and Original Equipment Manufacturer contracting counterparts. STaR employees develop successful working relationships with our customers to ensure that we not simply meet but exceed our customers’ expectations.
