SteelToad is a small business technology solutions provider with cybersecurity and software engineering capabilities. Our team has over 30 years of experience in delivering effective technology solutions to both federal and commercial clients. Our experience includes working with the NSWC-PD, Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Education and the CMMI Institute.

There are two main sides to our business: securing processes and securing technology solutions delivery. On the securing processes side, we offer training and appraisals for CMMI and CMMC best practices/certifications. We are a Licensed Training Provider (LTP) for CMMC Instruction and awaiting our C3PAO audit. On the securing technology solutions delivery side, our team is highly experienced in delivering cybersecurity and software engineering services to our clients.

Prior to starting SteelToad, our owner and CEO, Dean Rock was the Chief Technology Officer of a start-up company, responsible for the company’s technology services growth from two to 200 employees. Determined to build an honest company that is agile, lean, and efficient, Dean started SteelToad. Dean has a keen ability to manage and support the mission of enterprise and data driven applications by successfully developing the communication links among senior management, the business stakeholders, and the technical teams.

Leadership, hard work and integrity are core principles at SteelToad and we are consistently recognized by our clients for our commitment to their goals. For this reason, we believe it is imperative that SteelToad's own business processes have been secured. We have certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001 and the CMMI Development Model Level 3.
