The Strategic Education Office (SEO) is NAWCAD’s arm for integrating with educational programs in order to respond to emerging demands of the command and to help meet NAWCAD’s mission of superior capability in naval aviation. The SEO establishes a continuum of educational opportunities, especially in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), across K-12 outreach, university collaboration and NAWCAD workforce needs. The SEO is charged with inspiring students in STEM fields to join the NAWCAD workforce, coordinating work among educational programs, and facilitating opportunities for students and employees.
