The Naval Sustainment System-Aviation (NSS-A) reforms across the Fleet Readiness Centers (FRCs) have increased production and enabled an 80% mission capable rate for F/A-18E/F Super Hornets and EA-18G Growlers.NSS-A applies an integrated approach to a data-informed and analytic-driven framework that leverages best practices from industry to increase spare parts, enhance capability and maintain aircraft at a faster rate, supporting the Warfighter and Naval Aviation's abilty to compete and win.Our FRCs stepped up to the challenge, embraced the change and met readiness goals, achieving over 341 mission capable F/A-18E/F Super Hornets and 93 EA-18G Growlers before the October 1st, 2019 deadline. The FRCs continue to make adjustments to their processes to continue their successes and applying reforms to all type/model/series aricraft as NSS-A becomes the standard for sustainment in Naval Aviation. |
