Located in the Power Systems Evaluation Facility (PSEF) at Patuxent River, MD are the Qualified Product Lists (QPL) labs. This facility provides testing of products listed on the QPL in accordance with Military and Commercial standards.
The labs provide for destructive testing, and non-destructive testing of products comprised of environmental chambers (altitude chamber, salt/fog chamber, etc.), visual inspection equipment, (microscopes, comparator, etc.) as well as mechanical test equipment (calorimeter, shock and vibration, etc.).
