Marines Invite Community to USMC Birthday Ceremony

On November 10, 2010 the United States Marine Corps will celebrate its 235th year of service to our nation.

The Marine Aviation Detachment, China Lake, will conduct a special birthday ceremony for the citizens of Ridgecrest and the Indian Wells Valley to share a small look into a Marine Corps tradition. This very special event will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Freedom Park adjacent to City Hall. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m.

The entire community is invited to witness the ceremony, enjoy a piece of birthday cake and wish your Marines a Happy Birthday. Thank a service member or a veteran for his or her service and sacrifice to our great nation.
