Heflin takes over reserve unit at China Lake

Navy Reserve Capt. Keith Heflin assumed command of NAVAIR Digital Kill Chain Combat Test and Evaluation Detachment B at NAWCWD China Lake during a change of command ceremony on Nov. 15. Heflin replaced Capt. Jeffrey Canclini as the officer in charge. The detachment of 12 officers and nine enlisted personnel supports the Weapons Engagement Office and other NAWCWD activities with training, and test and evaluation of digital kill chain systems for the fleet. The unit is also a key supporter of the annual joint interoperability exercise at China Lake known as Empire Challenge.
