IRCMS 6.3

The Integrated Reliability-Centered Maintenance System (IRCMS) program is a software tool that was created to assist the Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyst in performing and documenting RCM analyses for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) programs. Version 6.3 is an upgrade to allow creation of a Hazard Risk Matrix, revised equations, as well as some improved features and printing options. It aids in providing the justification and traceability required for each preventive maintenance task that results from the RCM analysis. The IRCMS software leads the user through the appropriate branches of the RCM logic based on data supplied by the user. The program follows the RCM logic contained in NAVAIR 00-25-403, Guidelines For The Naval Aviation Reliability-Centered Maintenance Process.

IRCMS 6.3 Technical Support

• For NMCI users, IRCMS 6.3 is approved for use, and a MAC request should be submitted for the software.
• For non-NMCI users, the software may be downloaded from the site: http://www.webrcm.org

What's new for IRCMS 6.3

• Hazard Risk Index added for aid in performing Risk and/or Hazard analysis
• Captures Elapsed Maintenance Time and Non-recurring cost for the various maintenance tasks
• Captures Mean Time Between Corrective Action (MTBCA) for On Condition and Failure Finding tasks
• Captures Average Repair Cost and Average Repair Elapsed Maintenance Time (EMT) for the On Condition, Hard Time and Failure Finding tasks
• Captures K Factor for the Hard Time task
• Failure modes can now be locked by users so that other users are not allowed to edit data.
• Added Reviewed By, Modified By, Review Date, Modification Date and a Summary of Recommendation to the Failure mode
• Added Reviewed by to the Item, Function, and Functional Failure windows
• Other Action / No PM tab on Failure mode window now contains Other Action, No PM and Life Cycle Costs
• Double click now opens Item, Function, Functional Failure and Failure Mode windows from the tree view
• New printing features were added
• Three new reports were added: Analysis Detail, Analysis Summary and Memo Report
• Project Summary report now totals columns
• Cost of Lost Operational Time added to the setup
• Now has a more robust Setup Window
• Summary of recommendations is now available in the failure Mode window (Package/Summary)
