Course InformationThe NAVAIR RCM Training program is undergoing changes due to organizational and personnel realignment. In the future, training will be available from several sources via certified instructors using a common core curriculum. Costs must be born by attendees or training sponsors. Description: The Fundamentals of RCM Analysis Course provides instruction in determining effective failure management strategies through the use of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology as presented in NAVAIR 00-25-403 (Management Manual: Guidelines for the Naval Aviation Reliability-Centered Maintenance Process). Topics include RCM introduction, The RCM Process, How to Perform RCM, and Additional Topics. In addition, the course provides hands-on training with the current RCM analysis software. Target Audience: Personnel tasked with performing an RCM analysis. Completion of this course and familiarization with NAVAIR 00-25-403 will qualify an individual for NAVAIR Level 1 RCM certification. Restrictions: Students must have a basic understanding of computer operation. Course Length: 3 days Location: Varies, may be taught on-site by certified RCM instructors. UNIT I - INTRODUCTION

Description: The RCM Management Brief will promote an understanding of NAVAIR RCM Program policy and associated analysis process to enable informed implementation and sustainment decisions that support Cost-wise Readiness initiatives. Target Audience: PMA's, PEO's, TYCOM's, FST leaders, OPNAV requirement and resource sponsors, Competency managers, and any others interested in an upper-level overview of the RCM process. The class is especially aimed at those responsible for implementing and funding an RCM program. This class may be used in conjunction with the Fundamentals Course in training a team undertaking a significant RCM project. Course Length: 2-4 hours Location: Varies, may be brought on-site by request.
Eligibility: Courses may be arranged for NAVAIR and NAVAIR-affiliated personnel (i.e., personnel providing RCM-related products/support under NAVAIR contract), taught by certified NAVAIR instructors. Additionally, courses may be arranged via contract personnel for non-NAVAIR personnel. Arrangements for these non-NAVAIR offerings are the sole responsibility of the requestor. Cost for both NAVAIR and Non-NAVAIR offerings are the responsibility of the attendees or the training sponsors. To inquire about a course, please contact us.
