The Change History And Review Tracking System (CHARTS) application allows for the online review, tracking and voting on changes to COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 The Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP). CHARTS was developed to automate the NAMP change process. It was developed under the direction of CNO (N881 at the time - now N781). CHARTS permits (automates) submission of NAMP change proposals by any/all NAMP Working Committee members via the web. CHARTS also enables web impact review of each NAMP Change proposal by NATEC, SPARWARSYSCEN, AIR-6.8, NOMMP, Pt Mugu. After impact review, each change proposal is reviewed, using CHARTS and the web, by the NAMP Working Committee. After review and voting by all members of the NAMP Working Committee, CNAF (N422) approves or disapproves via CHARTS. Additionally, CHARTS serves as the archives for NAMP changes, enabling tracking of all submitted change proposals whether they are ultimately approved, disapproved, or cancelled. CHARTS is an integral part of the NAMP Instruction, COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2. CHARTS is a restricted application intended for Working Group Members only.
