What:
The Australian Department of Defense announced today it has selected the U.S. Navy’s MH-60R Seahawk helicopter as their preferred choice for their Air 9000 Phase 8 Naval Combat Helicopter replacement.
Team Romeo, consisting of representatives from the U.S. Navy, airframe manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft, and mission systems integrator Lockheed Martin, will host a teleconference for journalists to discuss today’s announcement, what the win means and what still lies ahead.
