Warfare Simulation Laboratory

The Warfare Simulation Lab (WSL) is the premier laboratory for the BMS Division and plays an integral role for the IBST Department. For over 10 years, the WSL has been a cornerstone for the Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF), providing the glue necessary for the ACETEF laboratories. The WSL hosts the JIMM, JSAF and NGTS simulations. The major capabilities of the WSL are Human-In-The-Loop (HIL) Resources, Rapid Proof-Of-Concept Experimentation, Distributed Simulation, Distributed Testing, Software Development, Software Testing and Software Demonstration. Some of the many noteworthy exercises executed out of the WSL are Interoperability Test and Evaluation Capability (InterTEC), Joint Battlespace Dynamic Deconfliction (JBDD), Tactical End-to-end Closed-Loop Simulator (TECLS), Advanced Concepts Event (ACE), Global Hawk Maritime Demonstration (GHMD) and Network Centric Warfare Virtual Laboratory (NCW VLAB). The WSL is always ready to exceed the expectations of its M&S customers.
