Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Infrastructure

The Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Infrastructure Division is responsible for the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) RDT&E computing infrastructure. The Division provides products, services, and support to ensure an efficient and effective RDT&E infrastructure and operating environment for NAVAIR in order to meet the Navy's goals and objectives. The key functional areas of the RDT&E Division are RDT&E Connectivity and Services, RDT&E Infrastructure and External Interfaces, and the establishment of a mature RDT&E infrastructure. The Navy RDT&E Virtual SYSCOM is a partnership between the RDT&E competencies at NAVAIR, NAVSEA and SPAWAR chartered to ensure consonance in the operation of Navy RDT&E networks.  Specifically, the VSYSCOM uses established processes and guidance to eliminate any duplication between the RDT&E networks and Navy enterprise networks.
