Manufacturing Program

The Manufacturing Program within the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) at NAS North Island has a large variety of manufacturing capabilities, in support of, but not limited to, the F/A-18, E-2/C-2 and Helicopters Rework Programs and the full overhaul of the LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine Engine used on Spruance-Class, Aegis-Class, and Burke-Class surface ships.

In support of these programs, we fabricate or manufacture parts not available through the normal supply system. We also carry out manufacturing requirements for other DOD Activities.

MOBILE FACILITIES PROGRAM

The Manufacturing Program includes mobile facility tactical shelter capability. Mobile Facilities manufactures mobile vans in support of deploying Marines and Special Forces units. These vans have more than 150 configurations that include medical, command and control, communications, and storage facilities.
