PLANNED MAINTENANCE INTERVAL ONE & TWO (PMI 1/PMI 2)

The PMI 1 and PMI 2 programs are essential to the NAVAIR long-range vision of increased reliability and reducing the number of hours involved in maintaining aircraft, the Integrated Maintenance Concept. By adding Airframe and Avionics Changes during the PMI process, an improvement in workflow and efficiency has been realized while reducing downtime. These programs were first pioneered at FRCSW, and have been expanded to include the helicopter line.
