BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS

The Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) is committed to joining with private industry to produce the needed products, services, components and aircraft needed throughout the Fleet and throughout the world.

Under Federal law, (Title 10, USC § 2563 and USC § 2474), a partnership between the FRCSW and private business enterprises is permitted, allowing the advancement of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and the implementation of AIRSpeed best business practices that increase productivity while reducing turn-around times (TAT) and costs associated with more traditional business methods.

Some of the unique characteristics of Public-Private Partnerships are:

  • Effective Material Support
  • On-site Partner Representatives
  • Efficient use of Experienced Artisans
  • Sharing of Best Business Practices
  • Cost Reimbursable: You only pay for the work performed

We are committed to using our AIRSpeed toolset, built upon the Theory of Constraints (TOC), Six Sigma, and LEAN business practices to cut waste and streamline productivity. We are dedicated to improving processes, reducing TAT and reducing costs to produce reliable, high quality products for the Fleet and customers at competitive costs. We are also considered the "sole source" for numerous products that are unavailable from anywhere else in the world.

How does a company establish a partnership with FRCSW? The following agreements need to be established:

  • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
  • Statement of Work/Task Description Document
  • Commercial Service Agreement
  • Facilities Memorandum of Agreement
